Meet Roman
Roman Gaskey was educated in Lake Orion Community Schools from Kindergarten through 12th grade, graduating valedictorian of the class of 2021. Recently, he earned his Bachelor of Science from University of Michigan in mathematics and data science.

In his early career, Roman gained experience in business strategy, local development, and government relations. After graduation and an internship in the health insurance industry, he joined an artificial intelligence startup as a business intelligence analyst. Outside of his professional life, Roman volunteers, writes articles about community issues, and is active in his church.
Roman is running for State Representative to address the most pressing issues facing everyday Michiganders: an out-of-control cost of living, our kids falling behind in literacy and arithmetic, and a patchwork of unreliable infrastructure.
With plans to target specific expenses, redirection of education funds toward the classroom, and a willingness to hold utility companies accountable, Roman believes Michigan can become a better place to live, raise a family, and retire.
